Bolest je isključivo korektivne prirode,
nije pokoriva, ni okrutna, već je sredstvo kojim nam naše duše ukazuju na greške koje pravimo, kako bismo bili spriječeni da nastavimo sa tim i sebi nanesemo još veću štetu.
Kao i sve u univerzumu, čovjek teži stanju unutrašnjeg mira i harmonije. Kad slijedimo težnje svoje duše, a samim tim i svoju životnu svrhu, možemo uživati u dobrom zdravlju i ukupnom blagostanju.
Udaljavanje od našeg unutrašnjeg bića uzrokovano određenim životnim okolnostima ili očekivanjima od strane našeg okruženja dovodi do narušavanja naše mentalne i emocionalne ravnoteže, što je Bah smatrao uzrokom bolesti.
Um, kao najdelikatniji i najosetljiviji dio čovjekovog tijela, ukazuje na prve naznake i tok bolesti mnogo preciznije nego samo tijelo.
Ne obraćajte pažnju na bolest, razmišljajte samo o stavu prema životu kod osobe u nevolji.
Osim stotine uspješnih istorija bolesti koje detaljno opisuju efekte različitih cvjetnih esencija, Bach nije ponudio nikakva naučna objašnjenje o tome kako i zašto cvjetne esencije djeluju i posticao je druge da cvjetne esencije zadrže “slobodnim od nauke, i teorija”.
Djelovanje cvjetnih esencija ne proizlazi iz biohemijskih intervencija unutar fiziologije, zbog čega ih je teško proučavati iz naučne perspektive.
